Bethlehem Cemetery Cleanup – Saturday June 14
We will be at the Bethlehem Cemetery on Saturday June 14 to clean up debris. The cleanup will begin at 9:00 am, and should last for about 1 hour. We are only picking up small debris so that it can be mowed. There are much larger fallen trees, which we will not attempt to remove.
Cub Program Book update
BSA has substantially revised the Cub Scout Program effective September 1, 2024. There are new program books for the new program. Major changes include the separation of the 4th grade Webelos rank from the 5th grade AOL rank. Webelos will continue to wear the blue uniform shirt. The Bobcat rank, which was earned only once
Recharter for 2025
The Pack will be starting the annual Recharter process, where we update our official records, and collect the annual registration fees and the Scout Life magazine subscription fees to pay to BSA National. This should be completed no later than the December 9 den meetings. (Sooner is better.) Active Scouts who were registered before August
PWD Car mini-build – Feb 17
After the den meetings on Monday February 17, there will be a small assortment of power tools at the church available to help shape the wooden blocks into Pinewood Derby cars. Bring the car and an idea of what the car should look like, and we will try to shape the wooden block into the
Strawberry Festival Parade – Monday March 3
Monday, March 3 is the annual Strawberry Festival Parade, and we will riding on a float as part of the Plant City Railroad Museum entry, which we expect to start in position 22a near the closed Babcock furniture store. Splash-O-Ree Campout April 4-6, 2025
The Council Splash-O-Ree weekend is scheduled for April 4 to 6, 2025 . Our pack plans to attend the event at Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation, east of Lake Wales. (There will also be one the following weekend at Camp Soule near Clearwater; you can register for it on your own at the above web site.)
