BSA has recently updated the membership fees and procedures, effective April 1, 2024. Basically, fees for youth have increased slightly to $85 per year, and will no longer be pro-rated until the calendar year end, but instead will be for one year. Signups after August 1, 2023 will renew registration on an individual basis direct to BSA on the anniversary of their signup month. The council activity fee of $33 will be handled the same as the National registration fee, for a total of $118 to BSA. (There is no longer a new member fee.)
The Pack would like to separately collect a yearly $30 activity fee.
Members prior to August 1, 2023 will have memberships handled as in the past, with $80 + $33 registration fees, plus $30 pack activity fee, for a calendar year due in November/December with the pack recharter.
