Cub Adventure Camp – November 16, 2019

Update Nov 13: Event shirts are not being offered for this event. If you ordered one and paid, either the $10 can be refunded or applied to your recharter fee.

The council is holding a Cub Adventure Camp at Sand Hill Scout Reservation on November 16 weekend, and our pack plans to attend. Theme for the event is “Art Explosion”. The program leader has provided an enjoyable event in the past. You can come for the day, or camp Friday and/or Saturday nights. Cost for the event is $25/person over 4 years old, with a maximum of $110 per family. The camp will provide all Saturday and Sunday morning meals as part of the registration fee. The camp is somewhat similar to Flaming Arrow, with shaded campsites and “scout summer camp” plumbing facilities. There are no permanent tents or concrete slabs. There may be a lot of walking (depending on campsite), but not as much sand. More information is in the Leader’s Guide.

We need to pre-register for this camp as a pack, so please sign up on or before the November 4 den meetings.

NOTE: if you use a GPS or driving app to get to camp, the only entrance is from SR50/ 11210 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34613. There is no back entrance on the south side of camp.
