Original post: Timucua District will hold another “twilight” Camp on July 22 & 23 (Thursday & Friday) evenings 6:30 to 9PM, and Saturday July 24 9AM to 4 PM at the High 5 center in Brandon. (This was previously called Brandon Swim & Tennis, Brandon Sports & Aquatics Center, and BSAC.) The theme is Weird Science. Cost is $65 per participant, with discounts available for youth with assisting parents. This includes a patch and T-shirt.
This is available for all Cub Scouts, including 2020-2021 Lion Cubs (who will have graduated up to Tiger Cubs), and their similar aged siblings. An adult/parent will have to be attend with each Tiger cub. The Camp could include traditional activities including archery, and wrist rockets (which are available only at district/council activities), water rockets, crafts, and other fun games, as well as new science experiments. We need to have some adults to stay during the event with the boys, as den guides, or program facilitators.
There is a program flyer available with additional information. To register, or for more information, see the council web site: https://scoutingevent.com/089-2021cubscoutdaycamp# . You must register individually.
