There will be a Timucua District Cub Scout Day Camp at the South House Event Center in Ruskin on Wednesday July 12 through Friday in the evening 6 to 9PM, and on Saturday from 9AM to 4PM. The theme for this year’s Day Camps is “Off to the Races”, and each participant will receive an event T-shirt and patch. Program includes games, crafts, activities, shooting sports, fishing, and aquatics events. Registration should be done on an individual basis. The price is $110 until June 14, then the price increases, and closes on June 28. There is a registration discount if a parent is on staff. Tiger cubs (those entering 1st grade in the fall) should have an adult attend with them.
Note that other districts have day camp events at different dates and times, and Scouts can attend any day/twilight camp event.
