Trails-End Popcorn Sales

The Trail’s End Popcorn sales are used by scout units nationwide to fund their program. About 70% of the sale dollars goes to scouting, and our unit can receive up to 40%. We have decided to do a one-weekend sale campaign, and hopefully that will earn the pack and troop enough so that we are funded for the year.

As a pack fund-raiser, the pack will be holding Trails-End Popcorn sales at several storefronts in the Plant City area over the Labor Day weekend, August 30 to September 2. For each about 2.5 hour shift, we would like to have 2 or 3 scouts with several adults participating. Information about the program is available on the Trails-End web site. Each scout should make their own account on the Trails-End.com web site, where they can sign up for shifts, and be assigned a unique code for online sales. (We are in Greater Tampa Bay Area Council, and Timucua District.) The Trails End phone app (download from the Play Store) (or computer site) is a very complete and user friendly site where you can learn selling procedures, sell product, record sales, and accept credit cards

Scouts can make online sales at any time.

It is imperative that each family participate in one or more storefront shifts of selling. It will be in safe, preselected, high traffic locations. Sales made during your shift can go to offset your scouting registration, event, uniform, or other program costs.

For our storefront sales, we are planning start at the Plant City Last Friday event on August 29, from 5 to 9 PM., and also be at the Plant City Lowe’s store.

On Saturday August 30, we will be at the Publix store on Thonotosassa Road from 9AM to 7 PM.

On Sunday September 1, we will be at the Publix store on Thonotosassa Road from 2 PM to 7PM.

Monday, September 2, we are scheduled at the Lowes from 9 AM to 7PM, and at the Publix from 2 PM to 7 PM.

The pack will allocate some of the profits from these sales to the participating scouts, to be used for scouting items of the scout’s choosing.

In addition to the Storefront sales, scouts can sell popcorn online, where the customer orders and pays over the Trails-End web site, and the product is shipped direct to the customer.

We are trying to make this a one long weekend event that can be completed, and we can then spend time on program. Please Help
