The minor league Clearwater Threshers baseball team will have a special promotion for Scouts on Saturday September 5 at Baycare Ballpark in Clearwater. The gates open with a lot of fun activities at 5PM, and the baseball game starts at 6:30PM against the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels. Admission fee of $20 (until August 30; $25 after that) includes an all you can eat buffet until 7:30, a special patch, and early admission to fun events such as a monkey bridge, raingutter regatta, pinewood derby, other displays, and a fireworks show after the game. Additional information is on the Council web site. You can pre-purchase tickets on the council web site, or buy them at the event. General admission tickets, without the food buffet, are available for $6 to $10 at the Clearwater Threshers site, and you are still able to enjoy most all the Scout displays and activities.
