The District will have a fishing event on Saturday, October 3, from about 8:30AM until noon, at the Bass Pro store in Brandon. There will be a supply of Zebco reel fishing poles and bait, but feel free to bring your own pole and secret bait. ( A long cane pole to get over the weeds along the bank would be good.) Recognition will be given for a lot of categories. This will last until about noon, or the fish quit biting. All family members are invited. You should pre-register on an individual basis, or find more information, at the council web site , or you can register at the event. There is a cost of $10 per fisher, except there is no charge for newly registered members.
