Pack 734 has been invited to have a Pinewood Derby and other Scouting information at the Plant City Planes, Trains, & Auto event. We would like to have Scouts there in uniform to assist with the presentation.
This annual event will be held at the Plant City Airport on Saturday February 21, from 10AM to 3PM. There is an admission fee of $8.50 for advance tickets, or $12.50 at the event, (plus convenience fee for credit cards) but no parking fee. Youth 10 years old and younger are no charge. Scouts 8 years old to 17 will have an opportunity to take a small airplane ride as part of the Young Eagles program. (You must register by 1PM for this, but register as soon as you can as there are a limited number of seats available.)
There will be parked airplanes to inspect, remote control model airplanes flying, model trains and train memorabilia, restored classic and exotic automobiles, police demonstrations, computer flight simulator, and other displays.
